Suze Randall Digs Into Archives to Launch Classics Site

CALABASAS, Calif. — In the adult industry, the adage “what’s old is new again,” still holds true. Photographer Holly Randall certainly believes that to be the case as she digs into her legendary mother’s archives to launch SuzeClassics.com, a site that features footage filmed in the ‘70s and ‘80s.

One of the world’s leading erotic photographers who has shot layouts of the biggest adult models and pin-ups since the 1970s, Suze Randall shot the content on SuzeClassics.com on 16mm film. All the videos have been remastered to 2000K DVD quality.

According to her daughter, Holly Randall, the creation of the new website comes after she conducted some market research.

“We literally had cans of 16mm film laying around the office from the late ‘70s and early ‘80s just collecting dust,” Holly Randall said. “Thank goodness it was still in good condition. The digital remasters look fantastic and it's nice to see we can earn back some incremental revenue from content my mom and dad shot back in the ‘70s. Most of the videos have never been released online. It's kind of exciting actually — and the soundtrack on these videos alone is worth the price of admission.”

SuzeClassics.com also features re-releases from Suze Randall’s treasure trove of photos in a large format, including downloadable zip files. Some of the featured models include Jenna Jameson, Savannah, Racquel Darrian, Debi Diamond, Amber Lynn, Kelly Nichols and Loni Sanders.

"A lot of our members kept asking for my mom's older sets in higher-res format," Holly Randall said. "So I figured it would be a great addition to the classics site to re-release those in waves as well and bring them up to modern standards. The chromes have all been rescanned, and we have a very talented photo prepper on staff who's giving them the same gleam of any modern digital photos I've seen. I'm very happy with the results. The best part is we've found dozens of sets never-before-released on line. I think Suze Classics will be a great way to check out how porn was made in the early days — before digital cameras, web and mass production changed the entire scene. Funny to think it's new and interesting all over again."

Each SuzeClassics.com membership includes access to the Randall’s growing network of sites, including Suze.net and SuzeVideo.com.

Additionally, the Randalls are looking for more classic video content. Producers with scenes from the ‘70s and ‘80s should contact Holly Randall via email at hollyrandall@suze.net.
