The Atlanta Forum Announces Special Seminar Lineup for September Show

Atlanta, Georgia — The Atlanta Forum today announced the seminar lineup for the inaugural 2008 Atlanta Forum. Presented by NationalNet, the adult webmaster trade show will be held at the W Hotel Perimeter Center in Atlanta, September 18-20.

Organizers stress that the Forum seminars, which are sponsored by XBIZ, will mark the beginning of a new trend in webmaster show seminars, and signal the end of hungover webmasters teaching attendees just enough to get by without truly giving away the secrets of their success.

“It seems that seminars are just a side-show at most of the adult webmaster shows throughout the year and we wanted to be different," The Atlanta Forum CEO Tony Morgan said. "To that end, we have contracted with Fred Pryor Seminars, the pioneer of outsourced corporate training, to come into the forum with their own trainers and educate our attendees on more business-centric topics.

"Fred Pryor Seminars has presented more than 1,000 topics to over 8 million business people throughout the world for almost 40 years. Their cutting-edge research and course development are designed to meet the needs of our employees, our organizations, and our industry," Morgan added.

The seminars, complete with work books and study materials, will be moderated by XBIZ staff.

“When we first discussed with Tony the idea of taking a unique approach to the seminars, I knew that XBIZ would be closely involved,” XBIZ President Alec Helmy said. “Like The Atlanta Forum, XBIZ is on a continual mission to push the adult industry toward new standards and these seminars are a step in that same direction.”

Seminars will be broken down into two categories based on the target audience. One set of sessions will target owners and managers within the industry and the other will target sales and webmasters. All attendees will be allowed to take part in either set of sessions.

The owners and managers sessions will include topics such as “The Art of Leadership” and “Criticism & Discipline Skills for Managers,” while the sales and webmasters sessions will include “Guerrilla Selling” and “How to Bargain and Negotiate with Vendors and Suppliers."
