Janine Faces Tax Evasion Charges

EUGENE, Ore. — Former Vivid and Digital Playground contract star Janine is facing federal criminal charges for failing to pay around $80,000 in income taxes to the Internal Revenue Service.

According to court documents obtained by TheSmokingGun.com, Janine (real name Janine Lindemulder) failed to pay taxes due on income of $350,101 she earned in 2004. Charges were filed against her on June 18 in U.S. District Court in Oregon.

Janine appeared in federal court on Monday for her arraignment and entered a not guilty plea. Her trial date is set for Sept. 16 before a magistrate judge.

Since her adult film debut in 1992 in Andrew Blake’s “Hidden Obsessions,” Janine was one of the most popular girl-only performers. Her first scene working with a male performer came in Vivid Entertainment’s “Maneater” in 2004.

She also notably starred in a celebrity sex tape with Motley Crue singer Vince Neil, appeared in the Howard Stern film “Private Parts” and was married to West Coast Choppers founder Jesse James.
