Led by adult industry veteran Jon Islas, who serves as president, Dynasty Group Distribution will specialize in exclusive North American DVD distribution agreements for classic titles produced during the late 1970s and early 1980s.

"Our goal is to work with the producers of Golden Age movies to increase their revenue while reducing overhead, [while] offering superior service and most of all giving those titles the respect they deserve," Islas said. "One of the most profitable sections of any online or brick-and-mortar store is its classic section — classic erotica is a solid bedrock that always generates interest and produces sales.

"Dynasty Group Distribution's marketing is based on proven sales strategies and educating distributors, retailers and consumers about what makes those productions special and worthy of being classics as well as increasing the movies' awareness and sales through that education."

The company has engaged Plan 9 Media Group for publicity.

"When it comes to movies made back in the '70s and '80s, Jon's one of the most enthusiastic people I know of," Plan 9 partner Wayne Hentai said. "I couldn't imagine anyone else but Jon to sit at the head of a distributor that caters to the Golden Age producers and the customers that buy their product."

The company plans to announce titles that they will be distributing shortly.

"We've been talking to many producers of movies made in the Golden Age and we'll be making more announcements about our exclusive partnerships very soon," Islas said.
