Nikki Jayne Crowned Miss XBIZ Summer 2008

LAS VEGAS – Vivid contract performer Nikki Jayne has won the Miss XBIZ Summer 2008 crown, beating out a competitive field of nine other contestants for top honors. Her prizes include $1,000 in cash, as well as an opportunity to represent the next XBIZ Summer Forum show in a year-long promotional campaign.

The second place winner was DarkCircusCash.com’s Alyssah Simone and third place went to Adam & Eve contract star Kayden Kross.

Second place received $700 in cash and third was awarded $300. All cash prizes were sponsored by payment processor CCBill.

The list of candidates featured some of the industry’s best-known starlets from both the video and web sides. Included in the contest: Sunny Lane, Joanna Angel, Penny Flame, Renee Perez, Trisha Uptown, Puma Swede and Moxxie Maddron.

Contest emcee Lightspeed Bob introduced each contestant, as they started off with a bikini competition and Q & A portion of the show.

The pack was divided between six blondes and four brunettes, with the girls’ looks ranging from classic to exotic to punk rock.

The leggy Swede led the field, followed by Simone, who promised year-round flogging sessions to all XBIZ staff if she was the winner. Simone later demonstrated her flogging skills during the talent portion of the show, while Swede lip-synced to ABBA’s “Mamma Mia,” as a salute to her native Sweden.

Uptown, though from the Midwest, looked like the perfect California blonde beach girl in her golden bikini. During the talent competition, she hula-hooped as a demonstration of her remarkable flexibility.

Angel got a big laugh when she told the judges that she deserved to win because she’d had a horrible childhood, and then wowed the crowd during the talent portion of the contest. Accompanied by an acoustic guitarist, the alt Angel sang a shameless unplugged plug for her next film, “All I Want to Do is Rock and Roll in Your Butthole.”

As her talent, HellHouse contract performer Maddron dead-lifted Angel, slinging the petite starlet over her shoulders and impressively performing a couple of squats for the audience.

Déjà Vu contract star Lane lit up under the hot Vegas sun, in her red metallic bikini and big, bright smile. Her booty-shaking brought a rousing response from the crowd. Lane used her well-known feature-dancing skills and performed a well-rehearsed number that had her dressed as a gladiator and spinning poi.

Perez did backflips across the stage, landing each one perfectly and showing her amazing flexibility.

Flame, who had been the most vocal competitor prior to the show, boasted to the media that she had gone “Nancy Kerrigan” on Uptown and used a crowbar on her knee in order to knock Uptown out of competition. Flame’s attempted comedy routine was hampered when she was asked to keep profanity to a minimum, to which she responded, “Balls, balls, balls – balls on my chin. Balls, balls, balls – stay off of crack. Thank you.”

Kross had a serious moment and read a poem to the audience. The starlet has been featured at several poetry readings, in which she recites passages based on her life and experiences.

In the end, Jayne won with a touch of British charm, telling the judges that she deserved to win because she was the “freshest face in porn.” A confident stripper strut in her white crocheted bikini and a dance performance outfitted as a sexy cowgirl was what ultimately got her the winner’s tiara.

Contest judges included XBIZ owner Alec Helmy, Vivid contract performer Sunny Leone, CCBill’s Ron Cadwell, Steve Lightspeed, Albert from SilverCash and Jenni Dahling.
