Adult and Mainstream Industries Look Forward to Holiday Weekend

LOS ANGELES — Everyone loves porn on the Fourth of July.

With an eye toward posterity, the viral-video maestros at Comedy.com have combined the best parts of Oliver Stone, Larry Flynt and the latest Red Light District release into a mock trailer for the upcoming drama "Porn on the Fourth of July."

Comedy.com posted the video in anticipation of the Fourth of July festivities, which the adult industry is looking forward to with hopes of a relaxing weekend away from the hardscabble world of professional adult entertainment.

• Digital Playground contract star Jesse Jane will visit retail store Slightly Sinful in Alsip, Ill., today at 7 p.m. local time.

• Talent manager and performer Lisa Ann plans to hit the gym, relax, work on her tan and avoid fireworks if possible.

"I don't believe in them for many reasons – mainly air pollution, and they're also a fire hazard," she told XBIZ.

• Digital Playground contract star Stoya is heading to Chicago to visit some friends.

Nikki Benz is retreating to a remote spa resort for a few days of restorative pampering.

Puma Swede is planning a "mellow" time with some family members out of town.

Tommy Gunn is heading out of town with Ashlynn Brooke to celebrate a "good, old-fashioned Fourth of July."

Courtney Cummz finds herself with some actual free time on her hands.

"This is the first holiday that I'll be home in years, so I don't know what I'll be doing," she told XBIZ.

Meanwhile, over at Comedy.com, a full-tilt spoof of the adult and mainstream industries is afoot in the trailer for "Porn on the Fourth of July."

"We know you’re mind has already drifted to the inevitable booze and BBQ festivities that you’re lining up for the Fourth of July later this week," reads the site. "However, let’s be sure that you don’t lose sight of what this holiday is really about - the inspiring story of one porn star’s miraculous comeback for the sake of America."

The fictitious movie follows a busty blond woman who decides to get into the adult industry to help her country, but after an on-set mishap – an impromptu "fistorectomy" – puts her in a wheelchair, she struggles to keep her career and her Kegel muscles alive.

The video is available at Comedy.com.
