Andrew Blake Continues His Love Affair With Film, Beautiful Women

LOS ANGELES — Adult filmmaker and producer Andrew Blake has continued his love affair with beautiful women with the launch of escort-themed “Paid Companions.”

Members of AndrewBlake.com already have access to the film. An international DVD launch is slated for tomorrow.

Blake, known for his artistic integrity and award-winning style, shot the feature entirely on motion-picture film. He credits this format as the sublime counterpart to the beauty of the women he shoots.

“A lot of people forget film was the original high-definition format,” Blake told XBIZ. “I’m very committed to working with film — the texture and visceral style is much more impressionistic. For me this is not only a love affair with women, but with the camera.”

The film stars Faye Reagan, Essi-X, Veronique Vega, Tanya James, Jana Jordan and Nika Noire in a series of “intense, extremely up close and personal sexual portraits.”

It was the first time Blake worked with freckled-faced beauty, Faye Reagan, formerly Faye Valentine.

“Faye has these incredibly puffy and large nipples that remind me of centerfolds from the 1950s,” Blake told XBIZ. “It’s a very beautiful film. These women are exquisite looking. The beauty of the women combined with my commitment to shooting on film – I think I really knocked one out of the park.”

Andrew Blake won the Silver Medal award for the Non-Theatrical Release Category in 1989 at the Worldfest-Houston International Film Festival for his first movie, “Night Trips.” That title still holds the distinction of being the only adult movie to win a medal at a major international film festival.

"Paid Companions" is available through Studio A Entertainment.
