Topco Sales Adds RSS Feed, Online Press Kit

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Adult novelty manufacturer Topco Sales has introduced an RSS feed to syndicate content and an online press kit, to keep media and press better informed of new products.

"We are providing three different distinct types of content to anyone who is interested," said Desiree Duffie, Topco Sales director of marketing and public relations. "Our press releases, newsletter articles and featured products announcements are all being fed as they become available. Anyone can subscribe to the feed."

To receive the feed, users can download a reader and subscribe by clicking on the RSS icon on the Topco Sales website. Readers are built into many web browsers, and web-based readers are available from Google, Yahoo, Bloglines and other sources.

Each of the three different types of content are labeled in the RSS feed so users can select content important to them.

Press releases are sent out to announce important Topco Sales news for members of the press. These press releases can now be received directly by media, distributors and retailers' websites and used as content. High resolution images are available on the new Topco Sales Press Kit page, a one-stop shop that includes downloadable photos and images of the Topco Sales locations in Chatsworth and China, plus photos of Topco personnel.

The second type of content is the Featured Product Announcements. These primarily go to Topco distributors and sex toy retailers and announce new products when they are available for order. Receiving this information through an RSS feed lets distributors and retailers stay informed about the latest products from Topco Sales.

Topco Sales also has a newsletter, Novelty News, which features several articles each month. These articles are also now part of the RSS feed, and websites looking for extra content are free to use them. The newsletter is also stored in archives on the Topco Sales website.
