LOS ANGELES — Adult entertainment public relations agency Plan 9 Media Group tapped industry veteran Mark Hovanec as director of marketing.

Hovanec retains more than 10 years of experience in the adult and online industries. During his tenure Hovanec developed peer-to-peer webcam sites, membership and community websites, search engine optimization and affiliate programs, advertising and marketing strategies, marketed and produced award-winning programs and spearheaded the rebranding of several companies.

"An effective publicity campaign coupled with the right marketing push can make all the difference in raising a company's stature among its peers in the industry and among the consumers," Hovanec said.
