PARIS — Adult production company Marc Dorcel has announced the launch of a new IPTV/VOD adult network that will broadcast to subscribers in several European countries. The network has been developed in partnership with Toronto-based Sureflix Digital Distribution, the parent company of gay video-on-demand provider Maleflixxx.

Called Gay VOD Club, the VOD television platform will be carried by the French division of Alice Home TV, the IPTV network of Telecom Italia, which has an exclusive broadcast deal with Dorcel.

The Gay VOD Club also will be the first gay hardcore IPTV channel carried by Numericable, a French telecom with more than 3.5 million subscribers.

“Gay content is becoming more and more visible on the various French IPTV and cable networks,” Mark Dorcel CEO Gregory Dorcel said. “We have been working very hard with Sureflix to introduce triple-X gay television VOD in France.”

This is the second IPTV/VOD collaboration between Dorcel and Sureflix, and Gregory Dorcel said that offering exclusive premium content has created positive consumer response.

The two companies combined offer major American and European gay brands. Sureflix roster of studios includes COLT, Hot House, Bel Ami, Lucas Entertainment and Kristen Bjorn, among others, while Dorcel carries Euro studios Eurocreme, Cadinot and Falcon International, among others.

The new network will bring Gay VOD Club content throughout French Europe [France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxemburg and Monaco] and be carried by major IPTV providers, including TF1, Free, N9UF, Orange, VirginMega, as well as Alice and Numericable.
