Sex Toy Vendor Participates in Local Charity

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Sex toy wholesaler XR, LLC participated in the 16th Annual Duck-A-Thon held in Huntington Beach.

The company, who has a hand in everything from the NicheShops affiliate programs to its own line of bondage gear, “eXtreme Restraints,” was a corporate participant of the festival.

The event raised approximately $200,000 for Community Care Health Centers (CCHC), a leading provider in health care services for needy people. The organization is the largest stand-alone non-profit community health center in Orange County.

“A lot of our employees, about 25-30 percent, not only work here in Huntington Beach, but they also live in the community. This is a great organization to be involved in,” President of XR, Ari Suss told XBIZ.

Thousands of rubber ducks are sold for charity, marked by their owners and tossed off the pier to "race" back to shore. The first 60 duckies to make it back to dry land earn their owners a prize. The festival includes musical entertainment, children’s activities, crafts and food booths.

The first night of the three-day weekend event began with a wine-tasting soiree at HB’s Pier Plaza.

"We had a great turnout Friday night," said former HB mayor Don MacAllister.
