Empowered Products Site Goes Multilingual

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Personal lubricant and adult novelty manufacturer Empowered Products has launched its new corporate website offering information in Spanish, Italian, German and French, as well as English.

“We wanted all of our customers to get information readily and in a form that is most efficient for them — their native language," Empowered Products Marketing Manager Chris Rowland told XBIZ. "We wanted to put information out there so that they could do training and use the website as a tool. This way we have one consistent message, even though it's in an alternate language."

Rowland said that the translations were done by a professional translation house, "and another house translated them back into English to make sure they still read the same." Additional languages and marketing tools will be coming online in early 2009.

Established in 2003, Empowered Products manufactures personal lubricants including Gun Oil, Pink And Frolic, and men's undergarments Big Boy, Padded Trunk and G-Storm. Besides its North Las Vegas home base, the company operates European distribution and sales offices in Suffolk, England, and in Hamrun on the island of Malta. Empowered Products will present at international adult trade expos in 2008 including Venus in Berlin; ETO (Erotic Trade Only) in Birmingham, England; Adultex in Melbourne, Australia; and ADC Expo in Shanghai, China.
