Adultcon Reports Success

LOS ANGELES — Adultcon, the fan-based adult convention, celebrated its 14th show at the Los Angeles Convention Center's South Hall April 25-27.

Attendees at the three-day show were able to meet dozens of adult performers, including contract stars Tory Lane from Sin City, Kaylani Lei from Wicked, Kayden Kross from Adam and Eve, Roxy Jezel from Club Jenna and Briana Banks from Vivid. Other performers gracing the show floor, either in booths or walking the aisles, included Eva Angelina, August, James Bartholet, Barrett Blade, Cherokee, Cleopatra of the Nile, Sophie Dee, Daisy Duxe. Brooke Haven, Tristan Kingsley, Ron Jeremy, Jenaveve Jolie, Teanna Kai, Lux Kassidy, Jack Lawrence, Luscious Lopez, Sinnamon Love, Lori Lust, Memphis Monroe, Nicole Oring, Mia Presley, Cindy Pucci, Veronica Rayne, Angie Savage, Savannah Stern, Evan Stone, Syren, Nautica Thorn, Lexxi Tyler and Veronique Vega.

"Both August and Brooke Haven took the time to mention how big the show had grown since they last attended two years ago," Adultcon Vice President Renaud West said. "It was good to see them return."

Attendees could purchase products such as DVDs, clothing, pipes, sex toys, male enhancement products and time-share condos from vendors on the show floor. Adultcon's $5 chip, given to each attendee with paid admission, encouraged attendees to visit and patronize retailers on the show floor, as well as meet the adult stars.

Rio Gentlemen's Club was a sponsor, and strip clubs Score and Skin offered presentations in their booths. A DJ provided continuous music, while both a lion and a tiger were on display in cages in the back of the show floor.

Mainstream coverage of Adultcon included Alexis Love, Tristan Kingsley and Veronique Vega appearing on 97.1 KLSX to discuss their participation. Local TV station KTLA Channel 5 ran segments on Adultcon on Friday and Saturday nights after coming to the show both days, and local newspaper LA Weekly also ran a picture feature on its website.

Adultcon 15 is December 19-21, "just in time for last-minute Christmas shopping," West said.
