It was almost a year since another event had been held for Hunter at PSK; at the time, a fundraiser was given for Hunter, who was battling cancer. Since then, Hunter has returned to the industry and is in full remission.
The star showed no signs of slowing down last night, and was on a date with a gentleman that had actually purchased a “date with a porn star” at the PSK fundraiser’s auction a year before. Hunter had promised that when she recovered from her illness, she would honor the pledge to go on the date.
Another one-time PSK regular, industry publicist April Storm, was on hand last night to celebrate. Storm, who is in town to help organize tonight’s XRCO Awards, as well as the Skylar Neil Golf Tournament on Friday, has not been able to attend PSK since moving out of the Los Angeles area last year.
Also on the scene: Mainstream celebrities Seth McFarland, creator of “Family Guy,” and “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” actress Eliza Dushku, who sat at a center table and joined in on some of the karaoke action.
The evening was hosted by A! Entertainment’s Tony Batman, and other adult industry members at the event included performers Carrie Moon, Cassandra Cruz, Tatiana Kush, and mother-daughter team Veronica Vaughn and Kristi Kreme; male performers Mark Davis and Tee Reel; director Will Ryder; and publicists Jay Moyes and Mike Moz, Rude TV personality Baadmaster and station manager Powder, among others.
