AMG Holds Dirty Joke Contest

EL CERRITO, Calif. —AMG Brasil will sponsor a contest for the dirtiest joke based on a scene from the studio’s latest release, “Carnaval.” In the threesome, two models in duck and gorilla masks top another model, who is disguised as President George W Bush.

The Carnaval Poke ‘n’ Joke Contest was inspired by an article written about the movie by gay blogger JC Adams.

AMG Brasil Director of Marketing Christopher Trout said that he expects a lot of jokes based on traditional comedy set-ups like, “A duck, a gorilla, and George W. Bush walk into a bar ...” or “What do a duck, a gorilla and George W. Bush have in common?”

However, he urges contestants to be original and raunchy. All entries should refer to George W Bush, or can refer to all three characters in the scene: A duck, a gorilla, and the president. The joke must also be dirty.

Submissions are being accepted through May 1 at pokenjoke@athleticmodelguild.com. Entrants should include their full name (no pseudonyms), mailing address and email address.

After May 1, a panel of judges will review ten selected jokes. The panel is made up of adult industry journalists including John D. at Fleshbot, Heather Riley from Box Magazine, Jack Shamama at Gay Porn Blog, Mark Adams of Videoview.com, Lavender Lounge blogger Mark Kliem and XBIZ’s own Joanne Cachapero.

The first place winner will receive a signed copy of “Carnaval,” a signed poster from the movie, as well as an entire library of AMG Brasil titles.

Second place will win a signed copies of “Carnaval” and also AMG Brasil’s award-winning 2007 blockbuster “Amazônia: Capture & Release.”

Third place will win a signed copy of “Carnaval.”
