Harmony Films Jumpstarts Adult Participation in U.K. Race for Life

LONDON — Members of the English and American adult industries have joined to sponsor Natalie Maskell, sister of Harmony Films' Jason Maskell, in Cancer Research U.K.'s Race for Life. The five-kilometer event, set for July 20, is the U.K.'s largest women-only fundraising event.

Jason Maskell, Harmony Films' manager of sales and marketing, said that last year more than 2,000 pounds were raised.

“I hope she is going to smash that total this time around,” Jason Maskell said. “It means a lot to me and all the family, as my sister has had breast cancer and beaten it. However, after five years of being clear, the cancer came back and she is now terminal. She is doing a great job of fighting it and has monthly treatments to keep it at bay."

The staff of Harmony Films, Harmony mobile phone content distributor Vertigo and Evil Angel General Manager Chris Norman have contributed to Jason Maskell's run. Natalie Maskell, who is still accepting sponsorships for the Race for Life, will be joined by her daughter, Jae, during the event.

"It's the first time they'll both be doing the Race for Life together," Jason Maskell added. "I am not promising a world record time, but she will complete it and knowing that so many people are backing her does help, as one of the major factors of all her treatments is being positive. She will be very grateful."

To sponsor Natalie Maskell, visit her page on the Race For Life website. The site accepts donations by Visa and MasterCard in U.K. pounds.
