Adult Webmaster College Opens in Curacao

CURACAO — The Adult Webmaster College (AWC) today announced the opening of its campus in Curacao, offering coursework tailored to adult webmasters and taught by instructors with real-world expertise in a variety of fields.

Created by a group of industry veterans who each have more than seven years of experience in the adult online industry and who handle more than 70 million clicks per month across their own sites, the college seeks to provide its students with reliable knowledge and support for starting their own online businesses — knowledge that can be hard to come by for a newbie trying to get their start in the adult Internet sector, AWC’s founders said.

“Look, I understand that there will always be cynics telling people why this or that won’t work. That’s why we offer a ‘Buy-Back Guarantee,’ where if a student is not satisfied with the site we help them construct, we buy the site back from them, no questions asked, for at least $3,000 after six months,” said Michael, the new college’s owner who is better known in industry circles as Mickyams of XLXX.com. “There is no ‘catch;’ we have valuable skills to teach and we expect our students to make money. Having our students make a profit is how we intend to get more students, so their successes and our own successes really are intertwined.”

The AWC’s core curriculum is designed to provide students with a solid, well-rounded foundation of knowledge that is crucial to becoming a successful adult webmaster. During a five-day intensive course, a variety of subjects are covered. Each class syllabus has been planned by a webmaster who is an expert in their respective field of online adult work, according to AWC.

Courses include “Webmaster Basics,” “Programming and Coding Methods,” “Website Traffic Procurement and Brokering,” “Graphical Art and Site Design,” and the “Basics of Site Architecture and Hosting.”

What differentiates AWC from other methods of obtaining the knowledge required to become an adult webmaster is that the mentor and student relationship is fostered within a classroom setting of a real brick-and-mortar school. The faculty also constructs traffic sites for sponsors, putting the lessons in a real-world context, and providing the classes with a functional purpose, as well.

DamageX, the owner of TrafficAdept.com and the adult webmaster message board AskDamageX.com, said he is excited to be a part of AWC.

“I really see this as an evolution of what’s already out there,” DamageX said. “So many new webmasters ask questions on message boards or hire so called ‘experts’ hoping to learn more. By attending Adult Webmaster College they can get real information from people who actually know what they are talking about and they can put their time into using what they have learned — instead of walking around in the dark. Hell, I wish something like this existed back when I started.”
