Hush Hush Launches Search for Next Blackzilla on ‘Howard Stern Show’

VAN NUYS, Calif. — Hush Hush Entertainment has drafted radio king Howard Stern to help select the new Blackzilla. The company is on the prowl to find the next star of its popular series after Shane Diesel recently retired from the role.

Hush Hush CEO Andrew S will be live on-air with Stern Thursday at 7 a.m. EST. The company has launched BeBlackzilla.com for interested guys to submit an official application and attach pictures.

“Shane Diesel has left very big shoes to fill,” Andrew S said. “The requirements are tough for most any man, but with the help of Howard Stern and his listeners, I think we will have a very successful showing of the nation’s finest Blackzilla contenders. This is just the beginning of the search, and Stern and his crew are the perfect first stop. I know they will have fun with it while narrowing down the many contestants as the search continues. Stern is very interested in discovering the next Blackzilla.”

After the initial announcement Thursday, qualified applicants will be selected to fly to Los Angeles and try out on camera. From there, finalists will head to New York where Stern will help pick the winner.

Andrew S first hinted at a nationwide search for Blackzilla on Los Angeles morning show “Kevin and Bean” on KROQ in February. After the overwhelming interest, Andrew S decided to tap Stern for assistance in selecting the man to replace Diesel.

"The Howard Stern Show" can be heard on Sirius satellite radio Channel 100.
