Kane announced her departure on her MySpace blog.
“Ninn Worx_SR and I mutually have decided to part ways, and I will once again be a freelance performer,” Kane wrote in post dated yesterday. “It has been an amicable dissolution, and there are no hard feelings on either side. It is for the best in regard to both parties.
“If you can’t tell, I have reinvented my image and am very excited about whom I shall be working for. I am also very zealous about this whole occurrence and plan to take my career in a new direction, one far more suited to my current mindset and stage in life."
Kane’s exit comes as Michael Ninn’s “The Four,” in which she stars, is set to be released and the publicity campaign for the movie is underway.
“Nikki will definitely be missed, as she carried a major role in ‘The Four’ and is a terrific performer,” Michael Ninn told XBIZ. “Nikki wants to take a different career path than what we at NWSR can offer, and we support her in her decision. We are very sad to see her go, however she has to follow her heart, and we won’t stand in the way of that.”
