Chris Steele Promoted to Partner at Jet Set Men

North Hollywood, CA — Marina Pacific Distributors President and CEO Nicholas T. Boyias announced that Chris Steele, Head of Production for Jet Set Men, the company’s production arm, has been named a Jet Set partner.

Steele, who was nominated for XBIZ’s GLBT Director of the Year, joined Jet Set Men less than a year ago, and has directed such hits as “On Fire!,” “Just Add Water” and “Cock Tease.”

Boyias quickly decided that Steele was “the right man at the right time” to take over the studio and operate it on an incentive basis.

“When I first met Chris, I had a gut reaction that he had genuine raw talent,” Boyias said. “Chris loves porn, understands the industry and knows what gay men want to see.”

Boyias is also pleased with Steele’s eye for casting and his outstanding production skills, and revealed for the first time that every one of Steele’s movies for Jet Set Men has been profitable, even though all have only been on shelves less than a year.

Overall, Boyias noted, there has been a radical change at Jet Set.

“From a sleepy on-again-off-again operation with an occasional release to throw into the Marina Pacific distribution mix, Jet Set is now producing nonstop hits on a monthly basis since Chris took over,” he said. “He has been working tirelessly not only to produce hit videos, but also to let the world know just how terrific our videos are.”

Jet Set sales data bear this out, according to a Jet Set spokesperson. “On Fire!,” the January release codirected by Chris Steele and Chad Donovan, is already in the black, even though it was one of the most expensive movies in the company’s history.

In addition, sales on the Jet Set Men website exploded last week after Jet Set Exclusive Aaron James was featured on MTV’s True Life series, an appearance Steele has nurtured for months.

“I am thrilled with the confidence that Nick has placed in me by making me a part owner of the company,” Steele said. “I feel like I’ve now found my professional home.”

Steele will continue to oversee all aspects of Jet Set Men in his new capacity with the company, including production, website design and company operations.

Based in North Hollywood, California, Jet Set Men is the premier “all-American jock” adult film production company, and has been producing quality gay adult entertainment since 1992.
