Zane — “The Master of Suspense,” as Total Guitar Magazine calls him — performed the guitar solo in November at the Pornstar Utopia and Ink Tattoo Convention in Texas. Although Zane has performed other suspensions, including one in front of more than 40,000 at the Download Festival, the guitar solo added a new challenge.
"I haven't played guitar live in over 10 years until that suspension performance,” Zane said. “So it is very cool to be recognized by such a respected magazine for guitar players. I thought I played well considering what I was going through."
Matt Zane’s performance was featured in the "20 Guitar Tracks To Download This Month" section. Previously unreleased footage from the guitar suspension will be released on the upcoming installment of "Radium Vol. 2," due out next month.
