Mainstream Film Features Adult Performers

TORONTO — Adult personalities Ron Jeremy, Nina Hartley, Peter North and Matt Zane are featured in "Calvin's Dream," a new comedy centered on adult filmmaker Calvin MacIntosh (aka Calvin Delicious) as he attempts to make "The Gospel According to Calvin," the world's first "art-house, Catholic, feminist pornographic film."

"I am always for helping indie filmmakers because when I put down the porn director hat that's what I basically become as well — a indie musician," Zane said. "So I understand how much of a challenge it can be creating your vision. Besides I was able to play a very exaggerated version of myself in the movie, which was a lot of fun. In real life you would never hear me say just about anything I said for the scene."

"Calvin’s Dream" is the first release from Topshaker Films, a Toronto-based production company established "to create unique films that put the emphasis on storytelling," the company said.

“Calvin’s Dream” will premiere at 11:59 p.m. on March 14 at the Bloor Cinema at 506 Bloor St. West in Toronto. A second showing is scheduled for March 15 at 11:59 p.m. For more information or to purchase advance tickets visit
