Man’s Hand Films, Sting Pictures Partner for U.S. Distro

LOS ANGELES — All-male spanking content producer Sting Pictures has announced that it has entered into a deal with U.S. spanking niche producer/distributor Man’s Hand Films, for exclusive distribution of its DVDs in the U.S.

Sting Pictures, which was founded in 1985 and was inactive through most of the mid ‘90s, has 13 high-end spanking titles in its library, including “Asian Incident” and “My Borstal Days,” which was set in a British reformatory.

The studio, which is known for the historical authenticity of its plot-driven features, is getting ready to release “Reformatory U.S.A.,” which is due out in the spring.

According to a company spokesperson, the title was written and created to satisfy the demands of American consumers that had been requesting content from the studio.

Sting exclusive models Matt Mills, Brett and Tigger are slated to appear in the feature-length title, and the company is currently casting models for its 2008 production, “Joe’s Diary: Return to St. Datchets,” which is a follow-up to the popular “Tales from St. Datchets Academy.”

Man’s Hand Films was founded in the late ‘70s by John Stewart who produced spanking loops on 8mm. Dozens of these films were then sold to Bijou Distribution and rereleased as compilations.

The production company was taken over by Gilbert Connelley prior to Stewart’s death in 1991. At that point, Man’s Hand Video took on more disciplinary-themed plotlines and historically based scripts. Man’s Hand also publishes Red Tails: The Male Spanking Magazine and has sponsored a booth at San Francisco’s Folsom Street Fair since 1994.
