TitanMen Scores With Big 2008 GAYVN Awards Win

SAN FRANCISCO — Titan Media , parent company of gay brand TitanMen, announced that three of its films were honored with 2008 GAYVN awards, snagging more individual film wins than any other studio.

This year’s recipients of GAYVN Awards are:

  • Best Leather Video: “Folsom Leather”
  • Best Specialty Release — Extreme: “FEAR”
  • Best Videography: Brian Mills and Paul Wilde “H2O”
“We are truly honored to have once again been recognized by GAYVN and the entire adult industry,” Titan Media President and CEO Bruce Cam said. “My team at TitanMen has been working very hard for the past several years to expand and solidify our dominance as the premier gay adult studio. It’s always nice to see my team’s hard work and efforts be recognized by their peers. A special thanks and congratulations goes out to Brian Mills — who directed all three of our award-winning films."

“FEAR” and “Folsom Leather” are both part of the co-branded TitanMen/Folsom line of hardcore leather/fetish films that have been designated the “Exclusive Leather/Fetish Films of the Folsom Street Fair.”

A portion of sales from these co-branded DVDs goes to fund nonprofit organizations specializing in gay men’s health and education. The first film in the series, “Folsom Filth,” won Best Specialty Release — Extreme at the 2007 GAYVN Awards. Due to the overwhelming success of the films Titan Media was able to donate $25,000 to Folsom Street Events for 2007.

“Having the most individual films awarded is a testament to the consistent quality of TitanMen films,” Titan Media Vice President Keith Webb said. “There seems to be a trend amongst some studios to make one high-quality movie a year in an attempt to win awards, followed by the release of mediocre films the rest of the year.
