Matt Zane to Appear on Navarro’s Spread TV

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Adult director/musician/performance artist Matt Zane will appear on Dave Navarro’s Spread Entertainment. The show is scheduled to air on Feb. 8, at 8 p.m. PST on the Spread Entertainment Internet TV channel.

Fans are invited to attend the taping on Feb. 5, at 1 p.m. PST, located at the ManiaTV! Networks, 5907 W. Pico Blvd., in Los Angeles.

Navarro will interview Zane about his recent 6-hour suspension performance, which broke the record set by illusionist Criss Angel. Zane will also talk about “Punk’d Ur Ass 2,” his most recent release, produced for Pleasure Productions.

"I am looking forward to having a cool conversation this time around and discussing things that are going on without having hooks pierced in my back,” Zane said. “I am sure Dave won't shy away from the Criss Angel situation, and since my last appearance I have had some more movies released so there is plenty to cover."

Controversy has been brewing between Zane and illusionist Angel. Reportedly, the magician has removed all references to Zane’s performance from the fan message boards on his website. Zane has also marketed T-shirts with an image of his back pierced by four shark hooks and bearing the words “Angel Killer.”

Though not officially sanctioned by Guinness Book of World Records, attendees of the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas witnessed Zane’s suspension on four hooks, which exceeded Angel’s 2002 suspension over Times Square by 18 minutes.
