Butts, also known as Adam Glasser, developed “Family Business” with Showtime following the success of “The Money $hot,” an Internet serial about adult industry insiders that ran on iFilm.
Showtime renewed “Family Business” last week, Glasser’s publicist and “Family Business” regular April Storm told XBiz. The show maintains a close relation with the actual workings of the adult industry, and Storm, who joined the industry as Glasser’s assistant, said, “I'm sure I will appear in some capacity (in season four), though we'll have to explain how I became the publicist.”
Previous episodes have dealt with Glasser’s difficulties explaining his profession to potential girlfriends and the release of his Cousin Stevie’s own video line.
Storm said that one of this year’s highest-rated episodes featured male talent tryouts. “The fans have spoken,” she said. “There will be more male frontal nudity in season four.”
