The expo will be held at the newly refurbished Grand Pavilion at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds, and will include music and dance performances, as well as circus performers and an international food festival.
“Jessica Drake and Carmen Hart will both be there, signing autographs and taking pictures, and they may be performing,” Wicked's Joy King told XBIZ.
Geared toward the adult lifestyles market, the show will host a variety of activities and cover a wide range of interests.
“Provocative fashions” parades are scheduled for every 30 minutes throughout the expo, with a full schedule of burlesque performers including Imogen Kelly, Rachel St. James and Sarah Lea Cheesecake. Male burlesquers the Aussie Pole Boys will dance also, as well as several performances by the gymnastic circus troupe Cirque de Vie.
“It should be a pretty good show,” King said. “It sounds pretty exciting. Our director of foreign sales will be going down with myself, and the girls. We’re sponsoring a win a date with the girls contest one night.”
The show sponsorship follows on the heels of Wicked Pictures recent distribution deal with Australian adult online content producer AbbyWinters.com, though King said she is unsure if Abby Winters will participate in the Melbourne show.
“[Wicked is] fairly well known down there,” King said, and added that the company is hoping that the deal with Abby Winters will help Wicked expand into the amateurs market and the reality niche where the Australian site has been very successful.
“We just are starting distribution of it here in the states, and I have to tell you that it’s kind of refreshing. The quality of the productions is really good and [the girls] are real. It’s very passionate and the scenes are pretty good,” King said. “We signed that distribution deal at the show, and our salesperson Bonnie [Kale] got the most incredible response from our distributors.”
