Eva Angelina Wins Empire Girl Contest

WARRENDALE, Pa. — Eva Angelina has emerged victorious in Adult DVD Empire’s first-ever Empire Girl contest. Angelina beat out 24 other contestants to win the crown.

Competing against Angelina in the final round were Daisy Marie, Alexis Amore and Penny Flame.

“This year for me has been absolutely amazing and to have won Adult DVD Empire’s Empire Girl contest really tops it off,” Angelina said. “I have learned that fans are so important and I would have to admit I am so lucky that my fans are so very dedicated to me. I appreciate the fact that they have recognized my hard work throughout the years, and now the industry has too. Thank you so much, this means the world to me.”

As the winner, Eva won $5,000 in prize money and becomes the official spokeswoman for Adult DVD Empire in 2008. The online retailer and the starlet now are working on special projects including exclusive interviews, video greetings and more.

“We couldn’t be more pleased that the voters selected Eva to be the first-ever Empire Girl,” Adult DVD Empire Editorial Director Shannon Nutt said. “She’s bright, charming and — let’s be honest — extremely sexy, so I can’t think of anyone better to represent our company. We’re looking forward to working with Eva in the months ahead, which will include a lot of exclusive goodies for her fans.”

To celebrate Angelina’s reign as the 2008 Empire Girl, the site is running a 20 percent off special on selected movies of hers. To view the titles on sale, click here.
