Michael Lucas Lands Cover of Genre Magazine

NEW YORK — Lucas Entertainment President and CEO Michael Lucas is featured as the cover subject of the January/February 2008 issue of Genre magazine, the oldest national consumer magazine for gay men.

"America loves Michael Lucas—I am just giving the people what they want," said Genre Editor-in-Chief Neal Boulton. Boulton's newly relaunched version of Genre—much like those of his many previous magazine relaunches like Men's Fitness—focuses it on the essential or "core" interests of men: fitness, sex and relationships, entertainment, travel, gear, and fashion.

The Lucas cover story features an 12-page black-and-white fashion spread throughout the magazine by photographer Ray Lego, along with interview quotes from Lucas about his life philosophies.

"I am very proud that Genre chose me to be on their cover, as national consumer magazines—even if they are gay—tend to shy away from putting members of the adult community front and center," said Lucas.

The issue hits U.S. newsstands on January 15th and will be available online at GenreMagazine.com. The magazine will also be on newsstands in England and Germany.
