LeMay, Bartholet And Lawrence Hit Milestones With AVN Noms

HOLLYWOOD — Veteran adult movie performer and producer Lynn LeMay has seen her share of triumphs in her storied career but none more gratifying then her recent AVN award nomination for Best Non-Sex Performance for her wonderful portrayal of Alice the Maid in ‘Not the Bradys XXX.’

With a career that has spanned parts of three decades, the actress has now decided to stay behind the camera but didn’t completely shut the door to a brief return if there was to be a Bradys XXX sequel.

“This is really a milestone for me getting this AVN nomination at the end of my acting career so for me I’m so happy I was cast in the movie. I had fun but that part of my life is now completed, but you know I might have trouble saying no to a sequel part,” LeMay said.

On the other side of the spectrum is Hollywood personality James Bartholet who has reached a different type of milestone for his role in the SexZ Pictures parody The Real Boogie Nights which earned him a nomination for Best Non-Sex Performance for his stellar role as the General.

Known mostly as an entertainment host, the funnyman has based the adult portion of his career on non-sex roles but recently has opened the door to more sexually adventurous roles.

“Both Jack and James did great jobs in The Real Boogie Nights and I wish them the best,” stated SexZ Pictures CEO Bo Kenney.

“This year has been great for me with a number of awesome movies that I’ve had a chance to co-star in like Britney Rears and J-Ho but The Real Boogie Nights was right up there in terms of enjoyment,” Bartholet recalled. “Most everybody in the porn industry loved the original Hollywood version so it was an honor to have a big part along with Kurt Lockwood and Jack Lawrence in the SexZ Pictures version.

Joining Bartholet from the cast of The Real Boogie Nights is Jack Lawrence with an AVN nomination for Best Supporting Actor Video. “It was a great experience making The Real Boogie Nights and I’m really proud to get this nomination,” Lawrence remarked.

“This is supposed to be fun. It’s really a special time and I’m very grateful that along with two good friends and SexZ I have received my first AVN award nomination. This is great,” Bartholet rejoiced.

The winners will be announced at the 2008 AVN Awards Show taking place January 12th at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
