AEE Preps for 4 Seminars

ENCINO, Calif. — Four seminars focused on adult product retailing will be presented during the 2008 Adult Entertainment Expo. The Expo will take place on Jan. 9-12 at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The retail seminars are:

At Warp Speed: The Latest on Digital Delivery: Jan. 9, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
The description is: "Businesses are rapidly making the transition into the digital universe and allowing their products to be available on multiple platforms such as: cell phones, iPods, laptops and DVRs. This session explores and evaluates the options that continue to expand for the adult entertainment distribution. Farley Cahen of AVN Online talks with a variety of industry leaders including Richard Cohen of Hotmovies.com, Jeff Dillon of Gamelink, Clint Fayling with Brickhouse Mobile, Mike Spierer of Spice Network, and a representative from All Adult Channel," the company said.

The description is: "Websites are an essential part of any business. If You Build It, They Will Come: Marketing and Advertising to Grow Your Business: Jan. 10, 3:30-5 p.m.
The description is: "This discussion will focus on how to market adult product effectively. Retailers will discover some of the studio programs that are available to grow even a modest adult business. Panelists include Bob Christian with Adam & Eve, public relations expert Brian Gross, and Joy King with Wicked Pictures."

“More Than Window Shopping - Reinforcing Brick-and-Mortar” – Friday January 11, 3:30-5:00 pm.
While the internet offers convenience, in-store shopping is still the leisure activity of choice for most consumers. This seminar will discuss strategies on making the brick-and-mortar attractive to the customer, focusing on: store layout, displays, customer service, store inventory and franchise opportunities. Some of the retailers sharing their secrets and experience include Mark Jasperson of West Coast Video, Rachel Venning with Babeland, and Kim Sedergran with International Video Distributor.
