Rude.com Offers $20K in 'Very Rude Xmas' Contest

LOS ANGELES — Rude.com will give one grand prizewinner of its “Very Rude Xmas $20,000 Jackpot Giveaway” a $12,000 cash prize Dec. 21.

Eight qualifying Rude producers will take part in a random drawing, and the remainder of the prize money will be divided among the remaining seven contestants, as determined by the drawing.

“This is just the type of thing that makes Rude such an incredible community to be a part of," Rude.com Marketing Manager Chandie Foster said. “We are truly excited to make each and every one of these contestants a winner and hope that it brings a merrier holiday season to them all."

Live broadcast details have not been announced.

Rude.com is a social networking site offering user -created and -uploaded video, both live and recorded, and still-image content along with Rude personal "space" pages. Since its November 2006 launch, Rude.com has grown to a community reported to number more than 1 million registered members.
