eXtreme Restraints' James Medina told XBIZ that the eggs are a best-seller at several of the retail outlets that the company serves, so the company decided to offer it in a 24-pack at $480, lowering the cost of each egg to $20.

"Bigger bulk, better margins, better profits," Medina said. "It's a good pleasure toy and a good mischief toy."

Medina also said that the remote-controlled egg offers 10 vibration patterns — three more than most other similarly styled egg vibes — and has an improved working range of at least 25 feet.
