Hot Desert Knights, All Boys Release Jarod Steele Title

SOUTH PARIS, Maine — Gay distributor All Boys Video (ABV) has released “Jarod Steele’s Hot Buckets of Cum,” the first title to be released for gay production company Hot Desert Knights (HDK) since the two companies inked an exclusive distribution deal in mid-September.

The title is billed as a “dungeon thriller” featuring Steele and an interracial cast of amateur talent.

“This release shows that Hot Desert Knights is diversifying in the type of model from past HDK titles with this film,” ABV owner Rob Ragan told XBIZ.

“Hot Desert Knights has an unbelievably loyal following and I think that the director of 'Buckets of Cum' wanted to show an ethnic model still holding true to the HDK style that's made them the most popular bareback film studio in the industry,” he said. “We'll see the results soon, but I can already tell you that this film will be a mover in both rental and sell through racks where it lands based on the initial response I've received from my distributors.”

HDK founder Bill Gardner told XBIZ that he sees a trend with consumers who are requesting more ethnic/interracial content. Though HDK does not generally solicit models to work in their productions, he said the company has been trying to attract a more ethnically diverse model pool.

“We get a hell of a lot of requests for men of color, and we’re just trying to give our customer’s what they want — and since we started promoting that, we’ve gotten a lot of applications from black guys and Latino guys and we’re going to run with it,” Gardner said.

According to Gardner the title has been selling well through ABV since shipping on Oct 17.

“They’ve marketed it really well and there’s orders almost daily, so sales are great,” he said.

Following close behind the release of “Jarod Steele’s Hot Buckets of Cum,” HDK’s latest Euro title, “Berlin Cum Pigs” released yesterday.

“Berlin Cum Pigs” was shot entirely in Berlin with local amateur talent for HDK's European line
