Luke Ford Selling LukeisBack.com, Distancing From Adult

LOS ANGELES — Adult industry blogger Luke Ford is putting LukeisBack.com up for sale and will restrict his writing to only publications that do not run pornography ads.

Ford told XBIZ that his decision was prompted by pressure from friends and his own need for change.

"I feel like my life is stuck in a rut and I need to shake things up and go in a new direction," Ford said. "I've been leaning this way for at least two years. I'm 41. Never been married. I am unlikely to marry a nice Jewish girl while I'm stuck in this porn rut."

Ford said that he will continue to write for nonadult publications and for his other site LukeFord.net, and that his choice to sell LukeisBack had nothing to do with having a delicate conscience.

"It's because of the social ostracism that comes from my making money off ads for porn sites," Ford said.

Ford said LukeisBack.com has earned him at least $500 a week since launching it in May 2004. He's received a half dozen inquiries, he said, but no deal has yet been made.

"I'm going to take the best offer and learn the value of discretion for once in my life," Ford said.
