Teravision to Throw ‘Broken’ Launch Party

STUDIO CITY, Calif. — Production company Teravision will throw a release party for “Broken,” directed by rocker Dave Navarro and starring Sasha Grey. The title is the first release in Teravision’s new Celebrity Series line.

The event will take place on Thursday at Bordello, located in downtown Los Angeles’ Renaissance Hotel. Navarro will attend with the cast of the movie, including Grey, Jenna Haze, Victoria Sin, Audrey Briton, Kayla Page, Lisa Daniels, Tommy Gunn, Marco Banderas, Mark Davis and Spyder Jonez.

“Broken” is Navarro’s adult directorial debut and was filmed in art-house style with the help of some of the industry’s leading shooters Axel Braun, Ethan Kane, Jimmy D., Chris Hall and Phil Guy.

“Numbers have been great and steadily growing, and the review response has been nothing but positive,” Teravision executive producer Sancho told XBIZ. “It’s definitely something I can be proud of — from the cover art to the final edit. Everyone really came through on this. The original artistic vision was never compromised and that is the one thing that I am most happy about.”

The movie has been released so viewers have the choice of watching the complete story, or switch to sex-only scenes that can be viewed in their entirety.

“I love the movie the way Dave put it together,” Teravision President Tera Patrick said. “But we also know that some fans just want to get right down to the hot stuff. By offering both versions to our fans, we are serving the needs of both audiences. No one else is offering this. It's another way Teravision takes care of the fans.”

Asked about who the next director in the Celebrity Series might be, Sancho would only give a hint.

“We are in the middle of solidifying a confirmation for the next celebrity director. I think the other celebs we were in talks with wanted to wait to see how the Navarro movie went before jumping in,” Sancho said. “The only hint I can give is that he loves girls, girls, girls.”

“Broken” is available now. For sales information contact David Peskin by email at davep@pulsedistribution.com or he can be reached by phone at (866) 466-6969, ext. 108.
