All Boy Video Inks Worldwide Exclusive With Boykakke

MIAMI — Gay distributor All Boy Video has inked a distro deal with production company Boykakke Films. The studio is the newly formed DVD production branch of affiliate program ZBuckz.com, which specializes in the gay Asian niche.

Their first release “Bangkok Dormitory Boys” was shot in a high-definition format, and the company said all subsequent titles from the company will be as well.

ABV has secured exclusive, worldwide distribution for all Boykakke titles through the end of 2008.

“Not only is it the only Asian line that I have, it’s the only Asian line that I will have,” ABV managing partner Rob Ragan told XBIZ. “I’ve seen bits and pieces of other Asian content before, and I don’t think there’s any reason to pursue anything else.”

Touting the high values and tech-savvy production of the new company, Ragan also points out that Boykakke founders CJ and DannyZ have been filming in Asia for close to a decade.

“I'm ecstatic to say that not only have Danny and CJ provided top notch content for me to market, they have also gone the extra mile on their own to ensure all 2257s are completely compliant," Ragan said. "It was a sigh a relief because there are little to no new gay Asian DVDs available for the wholesale market and we're very pleased to have what's in my opinion the hottest Asian films anywhere in our business."

Veterans of the affiliate sector, CJ and DannyZ said they are excited to be taking gay Asian content to the next level.

“We’re very excited about our new partnership,” DannyZ said. “With storylines, the highest quality HD equipment and of course our signature smoking-hot models, we are becoming the ‘Falcon’ or ‘Bel Ami’ for the gay Asian niche. With having the backing of true industry veterans in the DVD market behind our material, we really feel we’re ready to hit the streets full throttle.”

“Bangkok Boys Dormitory” is in replication and Ragan anticipates a street date in late-September or early October.

“It’s not going to go through a scenario where it’s only available online or through mail order. This will go directly into the wholesale market,” he said.

ZBuckz.com hosts also Boykakke.com to their roster of affiliate program websites that include GayAsianNetwork.com, GayAsianAnime.com, GayAsianAmateurs.com and JapanBoyz.com.
