SlitParade.com Owner Charged With Murder of Model

PORTLAND, Ore. — An adult site owner in the Northwest has been charged with the murder of an 18-year-old model.

Suspect Paul Eugene Frizzelle operated SlitParade.com and PettyGroveProductions.com.

His most popular productions, according to his websites, are the "Phantasm" and "Thrillfucker" series. A performer named Paul Pettygrove appears often throughout credits on SlitParade.com.

Portland police spokesman Brian Schmautz told XBIZ that officers found Emily Egan's body in Frizzelle's Portland apartment on Tuesday while doing a check on 37-year-old Frizelle. The investigation began when police received calls from people in North Carolina and California expressing concern for the welfare of the occupants of Frizzelle's apartment.

Frizzelle answered the door with self-inflicted wounds on his arms and allegedly covered in blood, Schmautz said. He now is under 24-hour suicide watch at the Multnomah County Justice Center Jail.

An autopsy determined that Egan died of homicidal violence but exact details were not released.

"It was a homicide but investigators aren’t done talking to witnesses," Schmautz said. "We're withholding the actual cause of death until we complete investigation."

On SlitParade.com, the site features many videos featuring bondage and fetish play.

Witnesses who knew Frizzelle in North Carolina, Colorado and California are being interviewed by Oregon Police. Frizzelle has previously lived in Greenville, N.C., and Oregonian reporter Stuart Tomlinson told XBIZ that Frizzelle is believed to have relatives both there and in California.

Frizzelle will go before a grand jury next week and make one more court appearance Sept. 7.

An introduction from Frizzelle on his MySpace page reads: "My name is Gene and I am an independent photo/videographer and almost porn star working primarily with erotica and artsy eclectic hardcore. I have over 12 years of self-taught experience, as well as five years in art school studying photography (that's where I discovered a knack for female nudes)."

Tomlinson said that the main photo on Petty Grove Productions' MySpace page is believed to be Egan.
