Hustler Club Fined for Illegal Touching
The original fine was for five violations of adult entertainment rules, but was then lowered to two counts, resulting in a fine of $525. This was the first set of violations by club owner Jason Mohney, a city commissioner said.
The violations included sexual touching with dancers and what the board considered illegal touching between a cocktail waitress and a dancer.
Mohney was personally involved in at least one of the incidents, the board said. Another incident, that was later dismissed, involved Mohney's brother.
The investigation of the Baltimore-based club was reportedly routine and took place on The Block, a concentrated area in the city where several dozen adult establishments including Larry Flynt's Hustler Club are located.
The inspection took place in November of last year, only days after the club opened. License Commissioners have been deliberating on the charges for the past nine months.
Mohney's attorney was quoted by the Baltimore press as saying he felt the charges against his client were false and that he was not guilty of any of them. The attorney added that the club is rigged with dozens of security cameras to avoid exactly the type of violations the liquor board claims occurred.
