NakedSword Announces Gay Personal Video-On-Demand Theaters

SAN FRANCISCO — NakedSword has announced it is offering personal video-on-demand theaters that specialize in gay-themed content. The Bay Area-based company said that affiliates can build the VOD theaters and customize them quickly.

NSDirect, the name of the new theater console, provides webmasters with access to NakedSword’s library of 3,500 movies. The firm claims to have the largest archive of gay adult videos available online. The gay-oriented titles are by production companies such as Falcon, Hot House and Titan.

The technology for these personal VOD theaters includes high-quality digital downloads employing Digital Rights Management-encryption using Windows Media Player. NakedSword’s video streaming is through Real Player, the company said.

With a "different-folks-for-different-folks" philosophy, NSDirect permits webmasters to customize their content for the VOD theaters. The movies provided can cater to and be tailored for various sexual tastes.

Prior to the introduction of its VOD personal theaters, affiliates had been limited to promoting NakedSword’s membership model. NakedSword is ballyhooing this new pay-per-view option as providing affiliate webmasters with an additional revenue stream.

NSDirect stated that unlike the practices of other VOD companies, webmasters are not required to ink exclusivity deals.
