Problem is campus officials are not so happy that the student uses her 7th- floor dorm room for photos posted on the month-old website, which charges $24.95 a month for access.

Dean of Students Richard McKaig on Wednesday said the girl potentially used the school's space, and possibly its name, without authorization. McKaig said he would leave it to the campus judicial system to make a recommendation if Keira broke any of the school’s ethics rules. She could face a reprimand up to expulsion, he said.

"Lewd, indecent or obscene conduct" on school property is against the student code of conduct, McKaig said.

"I don't feel it's porn," Keira told the Indiana Daily Student newspaper. “You can call it an adult site, but there's no intercourse or oral sex. There's not anyone else in the pictures with me. I'm not even fully nude.

"I think things have been blown way out of proportion,” she said. “[The administration] wants to say I'm running the site out of my dorm room. It's not run here. We just take pictures here."

The website is owned by Orange Image LLC of Raleigh, N.C. Its owner, William Linthicum, did not return calls to XBiz on the amount of traffic the website has recently received.

It’s not the first time the school has had to deal with a budding porn star, and it certainly isn’t the first on a major U.S. campus.

Mandy, a senior at Indian University has been featured on one of Orange Image’s porn sites, www.midwestmandy.com, since December.

That site, which charges $19.99 a month for a membership, has since received more than 1 million hits, she said.

"People recognize me, and I get e-mails, but I haven't had any stalkers or anything like that," Mandy said. "I have had marriage proposals. Most people are just curious about the site, though."
