Silverstein Legal Announces 'Legal Impact' Webinar Series

LOS ANGELES — Adult industry attorney Corey Silverstein will lead a new quarterly live webinar series titled "Legal Impact: Industry Issues, Today & Tomorrow."

The first webinar, sponsored by MojoHost and titled "Section 230: Why Aren't We Talking About it More?" with special guests Alison Boden of Free Speech Coalition and Siri Dahl, will take place Thursday, April 21, 2 p.m. (PST)

"The adult industry is always under scrutiny, often from multiple angles. It can be overwhelming to even keep up with, much less know what to do. During the 'Legal Impact,' live webinar events, Corey will explore legal issues impacting the industry right now, as well as what’s on the horizon. Industry thought-leaders as featured guests will add texture and nuance to these not-to-be-missed events," a rep said.

The series, to be hosted by Dr. Chauntelle Tibbals, will be free to industry members and subsequently posted to Silverstein's MyAdultAttorney.com and Adult.law as well as XBIZ.tv.

“The simple fact is that the adult entertainment industry has been under increasing intense scrutiny and that’s not going away,” Silverstein said. “Anyone operating a business in the space needs to be up-to-date on the latest legal issues that could affect their day-to-day operations.”

“I wanted to do something special and involve some of the most influential players in our industry so they could share their practical experiences and guidance," he added.

Silverstein will also hold a special "Legal Impact" broadcast during XBIZ Miami in May.
