Swiss Navy Offers Advice During 'National Stress Awareness Week'

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — M.D. Science Lab, maker of the Swiss Navy Brand, is raising awareness of National Stress Awareness Week, traditionally the first week in November, by offering healthy ways to reduce symptoms of stress.

“So many people are dealing with stress, and many have been for quite some time because of everything happening in our world,” M.D. Science VP of Sales and Marketing Briana Watkins said. “While stress may not be avoidable, there are ways to help manage it and many of our products can help.”

Sex has been shown to relieve stress by releasing hormones and other research has documented that sexual activities reduce levels of stress hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol. Sex has also been shown to positively affect moods by releasing endorphins and oxytocin.

“One study even found sex lowered blood pressure,” Watkins explained. “Whether partnered or solo, it seems like there is an abundance of reasons why enjoying sexual activities can be helpful for managing stress.”
