Amber Chase Unveils Ambitious NFT Series 'Compendium of a Sensual Being'

LOS ANGELES — Amber Chase has announced an ambitious NFT project for a series of art pieces based on archival images — some never-before seen — spanning her whole career.

With a stated intent “to disrupt the art world,” Chase is presenting an eight-piece “art + NFT” series titled “The Compendium of a Sensual Being.”

The multimedia project features Chase’s reimagining of a number of candid snapshots, glamour photography, images of her sketches, paintings, sculpture and even bellydance images.

“Most were never before seen by anyone,” Chase told XBIZ in an exclusive announcement, in which three initial images were shared by Chase to kickstart the project.

The First Three Images

“The Rookie Card (Variation 1),” she explained “was created with fragments of 128 images from my very first photo shoot in 2003.”

At the time, Chase said, she was 28 but looked younger, and “was told I had little time left from lesions in my lungs caused by a rare cancer-like disease.”

As it turned out, that prediction was, fortunately, very off.

“Three years, 10 months and 7 days later, I became ‘Amber Chase,’” she revealed.

The second image, “Pixie Magic Explored” features art created from fragments of 1,967 images from her collection “The Artworks & Glamour Photography of Amber Chase (1997-2014).”

The third image, “Queen of Mars” was crafted from fragments of 4,356 images of “Intensity: The Artworks & Revealing Action Photography of Amber Chase (1998 to 2020).”

Other images to be offered will include “Bunnies Bounce” (a mosaic created from more than 4,356 images spanning 2015 to 2021), “The Compendium Official” (a tentative title; created from over 8,000 images spanning 1997 to 2021); plus three other additional mint variations on “The Rookie Card.”

“It is a truly unique collection,” Chase said.

An Early Blockchain Observer

In addition to the NFT, the veteran industry performer said she is also looking to encrypt a file or hard drive to provide to the winning bidders for each of the images as a bonus.

Dubbed “The Gold Card,” the bonus feature will allow the NFT possessor to be able to view all the source material, without conferring any rights beyond personal exclusive enjoyment.

Chase is currently in the process of seeking professional evaluation of the pieces and ensuring all technical aspects are handled properly before making the offering to the public.

“I want this handled with the greatest care and respect,” she added.

Chase explained she has been pondering blockchain issues for over a decade.

“In late 2009 or early 2010, I was offered $250 in Bitcoin for a solo webcam session but declined the offer because I had college reports due, so risking my time was more a concern than shorting the rent,” she said. “However, for the last year I have been quietly seeking guidance on partnering with a tech company to make moves in the NFT market, while exploring how this project could make the world a better place.”

Amber Chase's 'Magnum Opus' As Artist

Chase sees “The Compendium of a Sexual Being” series and its NFT incarnation as something of magnum opus, a summation of a somehow atypical career that has always deliberately combined adult performances with spirituality, healing and art.

“When I entered the adult entertainment industry I was in my fifth year of college and struggling with a lung disease — Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) X) — so rare that oncologists often do not research it,” Chase revealed. “I was commuting from Washington state to participate in mainstream porn while glamour modeling in the Pacific Northwest and self-producing amateur content.”

Chase said that in the same way she pursued dual tracks in school — with a BA in art history/studio arts, and a BS in Anthropology plus a Master’s in Public Administration, her adult career was also “a dual major.”

“I crafted 'Amber Chase' alongside the persona of 'Goddess Amber,' and thus much of my glamour collection has never been published,” she said.

“On my trips to L.A. at first I considered myself a participant observer and imagined I’d write a thesis on sexual art, but I began to relate and understand my peers on a deeper level the more intimately I experienced the industry,” she added.

Looking for a Tech Partnership

Chase has pursued drawing, painting, sculpture and dance since childhood.

“I have sold pieces in occasional exhibits since my twenties, and the project I am about to unveil includes fragments of the collection which has taken over 22 years to complete — from 1997 art in my first blog as ‘Tigerlilie’ to 2021 and my last photo as ‘Amber Chase,’” she said.

Chase said she is currently searching to partner with a tech company to achieve a broader vision: to create a foundation/angel-investing project for a variety of causes and needs, as well as potential secondary investment into an emerging Erotic Art NFT trading platform.

“While I have advocated for others to make measurable improvements for performers for many years,” she said, “this is the action I am taking to be the change, as I also intend to send bonus royalties or angel investments to those who I believe deserve the recognition in collaborating with me, or believing in me.”

"'Erotica' is the art from a thousand years ago that still stands in museums today,” Chase concluded. “The medium is just changing.”

More details on “The Compendium of a Sensual Being” will become available over the coming weeks through Chase’s main Twitter account and her "LilyFireFitness" Twitter and Instagram profiles.
