Loverfans Launches Charity Challenge, Debuts AI Avatar

BARCELONA — Loverfans has announced a new charitable campaign for the holidays, running until January 8, and also the release of an AI avatar for their content creators.

“We are in difficult times in which the global pandemic has left many people in a vulnerable situation,” said a rep. “For this reason all of us who are part of Loverfans want to be in solidarity and make our small contribution.”

According to the company “hundreds of content creators and influencers from around the world are joining this solidarity campaign.”

The Loverfans Charity Challenge can be accessed through the fan platform’s auction tool, where content creators will auction diverse items, like articles of clothing and products, for charity.

Fans who want to make their contribution to the chosen charitable cause can bid to buy the items.

Loverfans has indicated they will donate all the profits from these charitable auctions “to a food-delivery NGO.”

Both content creators and fans are encouraged to join the Loverfans Charity Challenge.

“If you are a fan or buyer, you can also be part of this solidarity challenge, knowing that your purchases will be donated to an NGO to help families and people in vulnerable situations,” the rep stated.

Loverfans has also announced the debut of Lovely, a virtual artificial intelligence avatar.

“Lovely is a little doll that all our content creators can customize to their image and likeness, modify and change their features, change their hair color, hairstyle, skin color, eyes and mouth,” eplained the rep. “They have this avatar in both photo and video format. Lovely recognizes voices as well as mouth-and-face gestures, and it can speak with the content creators' own voice, thus becoming a fully personalized avatar.”
