NEW ORLEANS — Mistress Cyan has announced DomCon New Orleans Virtual, a professional domination convention, will take place from October 30 to November 1 and broadcast on DomCon.com.
Sponsors currently include JustFor.fans, Bad Dragon and Sybian.
The DomCon franchise, a rep explained, was conceived to "bring a better understanding of BDSM in the adult alternative lifestyle and to bring the BDSM, leather, fetish and professional communities together."
“This premier expo of kink celebrates the diversity in fetishes and promotes awareness through demonstrations, seminars and panel discussions, also acting as a showcase for creators and performers from around the world to debut their latest talents to the kinky and curious public at large,” the rep added.
DomCon Founder and President Mistress Cyan explained that the virtual Los Angeles convention in August was a success. "We're channeling that momentum into our New Orleans show this year," they added.
Mistress Cyan noted they are also making improvements. Scheduled spots are now available for vendors to go live in order to demonstrate products, answer questions and give attendees more details about their innovative bondage gear, fetish fashions and accessories.
“We're also noticing some advantages for some guests that come with attending online,” Mistress Cyan added. “While traditionally, attendees come from all over the globe, those unable to travel gain live access. This is encouraging, as we can grow our audience further when the pandemic ends."
The B2B side of the expo starts Friday, October 30, at 10 a.m. (PDT), with industry-only classes. Later that evening, the fetish festivities kick off with the Virtual Red Carpet with Goddess Phoenix, opening ceremonies and online kinky karaoke.
Saturday, October 31, there is a full day planned for the public with kinky classes, workshops and the online vendor rooms. The day also includes "The Pet Awards" and online performances.
In the evening, DomCon NOLA's first Fetish Halloween Ball will take place. Featured will be onstage performances from Sanctuary LAX and scenes from the playrooms, along with international attendees broadcasting from their home and private play spaces. Guests are invited to participate with their costumes and hottest fetish attire.
Sunday, November 1, the classes and workshops continue, along with online vendors, the Crossdresser Pageant and The Mistress Tea.
Tickets are discounted for Gold Key Members, but other guests can still attend by purchasing a temporary membership for online attendance. Membership is required so that DomCon NOLA Virtual can be an uncensored event.
