2020 TEAs Announce New Pre-Party Venue

LOS ANGELES — Organizers of the 2020 Transgender Erotica Awards have announced a new venue for the ceremony’s official pre-party: the Sayers Club in Hollywood.

“I stumbled upon the Sayers Club one night in Hollywood and immediately fell in love with the space,” said TEAs Executive Producer Kristel Penn. “We love the Bardot and it’s been a great home for our pre-party for years now, but we thought this would be a good opportunity to change the backdrop for the inaugural event of the TEAs weekend. We’re very excited to share it with you in 2020.”

A representative describes the Sayers Club as “a swanky speakeasy with exposed brick-and-concrete walls, lush sweeping drapes and a golden-lit bar.”

Penn notes that space in the new venue is limited; click here for ticketing details.

Pre-nomination voting is now open and runs through October 16. The qualifying eligibility period is November 16, 2018 through October 1, 2019. Submissions are limited to one per person and can be made online here.

The weekend-long TEAs festivities are set for March 13 to 15, 2020 in Hollywood. Click here for sponsorship details.
