Asa Akira to Host 2019 Pornhub Awards in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES — Asa Akira will host the 2019 Pornhub Awards. The ceremony, in its second year, is set for Oct. 11 at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, with nominees and additional details to be revealed over the coming weeks.

Akira is a Pornhub Brand Ambassador. This year’s kudos will also feature a spotlight set by singer, rapper and producer Bad Bunny, who promised a “wild, don’t-miss” performance.

Willo Perron will return as the Pornhub Awards Creative Director. He has created stages for music stars; album covers for Florence and the Machine, St. Vincent, Bruno Mars and Kanye West; and interiors for such brands as Stussy and West’s Yeezy. Perron “combines an interest in immersive, powerful experiences with a passion for accessible design,” a rep said.

Corey Price, VP for Pornhub, enthused about their plans for this year’s event.

“Last year, we made history and we’re building on that momentum. We are excited to again honor the biggest and brightest stars in the adult entertainment industry, based on the viewing patterns of over 120 million people who visit Pornhub daily," Price said. "No other awards show has ever even attempted to do what we do. We are proud to have created the most democratic way of recognizing performers, creators and studios.”

Several dozen awards categories include Most Popular Male, Female and Trans Performer; Top Anal, BBW, Blowjob, MILF and Fetish Performer; Top Channel; and Most Popular Gay Performer.

Quirkier categories include Top Big Tits Performer, Three’s Company (for the top threesome performer), Tantalizing Twink, Zam Daddy! (top “daddy” performer), Splash Zone (top squirting performer) and Full Mast (for the “top big dick performer”).

Fans will have the option of casting ballots for their favorites in a variety of categories.
