Webmaster School to Expand Virtual Reach

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- AdultWebmasterSchool.com (AWS) said Thursday it is expanding curriculum to include the Spanish language for its webmastering classes by the end of the year.

Michael Hayes, one of the founders of the Newport Beach, Calif., school, said French and Italian will be introduced shortly after the Spanish launch.

AWS has enrolled more 3,000 students since its beginning four years ago. Five ambitious techies, led by Philip Brandes and Hayes, founded with the motto, “Get Paid To Look At Porn.”

Riding on the coattails of the online adult industry’s success and billion dollar revenue projections, AWS promises its graduates that they can make an average of between $500 and $2,500 per week as adult webmasters.

The school is based on a virtual porn curriculum in the form of a course guide and video tutorials, with teaching staff on hand to fill in the gaps. Tuition is $140.

AWS’ curriculum teaches students how to build thumbnail galleries, create free porn sites and paysites, analyze conversion ratios, niche effectiveness, click-through ratios, sponsor sales and traffic bandwidth, among other webmaster skills.

Hayes said that AWS has also dropped Advertising Revenue Service RI because of recent changes, including a decision to pull online advertising campaigns and to initiate a new pay-per-click cost structure.

“We have stopped utilizing them as our main sponsor and have aligned ourselves with Adult Profit Network, Adult Paymaster and Platinum Bucks,” he said. “Our students needed a bit more diversity in their promotion, and the new sponsors provide them with a wide array of niches and sites. Our past student base will continue to promote ARS, while our current and new students will have a choice of the three sponsors.”
