Jessy Jones and Jaclyn Taylor Release Joint Statement, DA 'Rejects' Case

WEST HILLS, Calif. — Adult performer and director Jessy Jones and fellow performer Jaclyn Taylor have released a joint statement about the domestic incident on April 8 that resulted in Jones’ arrest.

Jones and Taylor, who cohabitated until the date of the incident and had been in a years-long serious relationship until the beginning of the year, thanked friends, fans and the adult community for their patience during this difficult time for both of them.

“We would like to keep details, facts and everything involving this unfortunate case as a private matter,” the statement reads. “We wish it would never happened in the first place, or made public in the immediate aftermath. Things got taken out of hand and what should have been handled privately, became public.”

On May 2, according to the statement, “Jessy attended his court hearing as scheduled, and the prosecutor and the state of California immediately rejected the case due to insufficient evidence.”

XBIZ has been able to review Jones’ Proof of Appearance certificate issued by the court.

Here is the full text of the couple’s joint statement, obtained exclusively by XBIZ:

Joint Statement by Jessy Jones and Jaclyn Taylor

“We wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been patient with us for understanding how difficult and delicate this situation is. We truly love and appreciate you.

Having been a part of this industry for several years, we both understand that gossip and rumors sometimes cause misunderstandings and help spread false information. We think it is important to clarify our situation right now and set the record straight.

On May 2, Jessy attended his court hearing as scheduled, and the prosecutor and the state of California immediately rejected the case due to insufficient evidence.

At this point, we would like to keep details, facts and everything involving this unfortunate case as a private matter. We wish it would never happened in the first place, or made public in the immediate aftermath. Things got taken out of hand and what should have been handled privately, became public. We both deeply regret that and have agreed we both wish we could have done things a lot differently.

We have had many heartfelt conversations, and have agreed that we both acted poorly until the whole situation got out of hand. We both wish we could take back some actions and things that were done and said that day. All we can do now is move forward — we are not perfect and will definitely learn from this harrowing experience.

We are working together amicably now, and we very much look forward to moving past this. We also sincerely apologize for involving others.

We ask everyone who cares about us to give us some privacy at this time, as we work toward putting this matter behind us in the shared hope we can move forward with our lives and careers.”
